The operation mode of semi-gantry crane is mainly divided into three kinds: manual control, electric control and automatic control. Lightweight semi-gantry cranes with lifting capacity between hundreds of kilograms and several tons are suitable for small factories and workshops; The lifting capacity of the medium half gantry crane is between tens of tons and more than 100 tons, which is suitable for large-scale factories and wharves. Heavy duty semi-gantry crane lifting capacity between hundreds of tons to more than 1,000 tons, suitable for large steel enterprises and other high-intensity lifting tasks.

The use of semi-gantry cranes is usually divided into indoor and outdoor two types. Indoor semi-gantry cranes are commonly used in scenarios such as factories and workshops and are suitable for smaller and medium-sized lifting tasks; Outdoor semi-gantry cranes are usually used in piers, ports and other scenes, suitable for medium and large lifting tasks.

The working level of the semi-gantry crane is usually divided according to the frequency of its use, operating time and load weight and other factors. According to the European standard EN 14492-2, the working classes of semi-gantry cranes are divided into the following four categories:

Class A: Suitable for light and medium lifting tasks, with a lifting capacity of between 1 and 20 tons for use for no more than 10 hours per day.

Class B: Suitable for light and medium lifting tasks with no more than 20 hours of use per day and lifting capacity between 1 and 20 tons.

Class C: Suitable for medium and heavy lifting tasks, with a lifting capacity of between 1 and 20 tons for use for no more than 20 hours per day.

Class D: Suitable for heavy and super-heavy lifting tasks, the use time does not exceed 20 hours per day, lifting capacity of more than 20 tons.

Semi-gantry cranes are usually suitable for indoor or semi-indoor environments, such as factories, warehouses, logistics centers, processing plants, steel plants, automobile plants, etc. The operating environment of the crane should meet the following conditions:

Temperature range: The crane should operate within the temperature range, generally -20 ° C to +40 ° C.

Humidity: The crane should operate in an environment with appropriate humidity, generally below 85%.

Air: The operating environment of the crane should meet the air quality standards, and there should be no corrosive gases, flammable gases, dust and pollutants.

Power supply: The crane should accept a stable power supply, and the voltage range should be within the specified range.
